What we do:
Each month we donate 30% of the proceeds from sales to a charitable organization.  It has been our core mission from the start to give back and in doing so, we have been able to meet some amazing people, and have heard heart breaking stories.  We want to do our part to help out. We are very honored to announce our support through September 30,2021 of:

The mission of the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation is to inspire and fund game-changing research to discover effective treatments for pediatric brain cancer, with an emphasis on diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG).

Brain cancer is killing more kids than any other type of cancer. DIPG represents 10% of all pediatric brain tumors but nearly 50% of all pediatric brain cancer deaths.

The ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation funds the most innovative, promising research on DIPG, which is underfunded compared to most cancers. The foundation is powered by parents who have faced a pediatric brain cancer diagnosis with their own children, many of whom have unfortunately passed away. The ChadTough Defeat DIPG research program is guided by a Scientific Advisory Council made up of the leading experts in the field.

In early 2021, The ChadTough Foundation and Michael Mosier Defeat DIPG Foundation united to become the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation. For the last five years, both foundations worked, separately and as partners, to fund pediatric brain cancer research with a focus on DIPG. These two original foundations committed over $12 million in research funding across 21 institutions prior to uniting. The new foundation remains committed to this same, shared mission. The new union significantly increases the potential of finding a cure for pediatric brain cancer more quickly by streamlining operations through a single nonprofit to fund more projects at a higher level. The ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation’s co-founders, Jason and Tammi Carr and Mark and Jenny Mosier, are actively involved in the foundation’s governance and operations.

The foundation is fueled by parents committed to changing the outcome for future families facing a pediatric brain cancer diagnosis, especially DIPG, in honor of their children. Both the Carrs and Mosiers lost their sons, 5-year-old Chad and 6-year-old Michael, in 2015 to this horrible disease. The Carrs and Mosiers are joined by a growing, nationwide team of Family Partners who have experienced the devastation of pediatric brain cancer. The ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation knows that we are tougher together. The families at the heart of the foundation’s work are passionate about fighting for a cure so future families can experience a different, more hopeful journey.

While the survival rate for DIPG is still nearly 0%, doctors now believe a cure for DIPG is within reach. The ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation will continue to be a part of this fight until DIPG is no longer a death sentence.
